This product contains 800 mg of green coffee bean extract per capsule. It claims to have reduced the amount of caffeine down to just 20 mg (equal to one cup of decaffeinated coffee), if true this formula would have the lowest amount of caffeine of any green coffee bean extract on the market. NatureWise green coffee bean extract does meet the 50% GCA content recommended by Dr. Oz. GCA is the top of the list as it holds the most successful clinical studies behind it. The concern with this product is the recommended dose on the label. The label recommends taking two 800 mg capsules daily resulting in a 1600 mg total. This dose is 400 mg higher than safely recommended by most leading nutritionist. Even more critical this formulation (with such high dosages) does not address the most critical issue of absorption. Remember that absorption is crucial to reaping all the health benefits of the green coffee bean extract. Without addressing absorption of nutrients you end up flushing your money down the toilet, literally. Remember it’s not how much you take, it’s how much you can absorb.
